Incontinence is a common challenge for people living with dementia and their carers. Wearing bulky incontinence pads can be uncomfortable and normal incontinence pants simply do not look very appealing.

Introducing a modern and washable leakproof underwear that is designed for everyday wear and comfort - the Confitex Men's Washable Incontinence Underwear Trunks features a jacquard elastic strip that sits comfortably on the waist. The Underwear Trunk is made from stretchable, comfortable bamboo fibre that helps to regulate skin temperate and last three times longer than cotton.

Key Features:

  • Comfortable shorter leg and closer fit design.
  • Great for light bladder leakage thanks to absorbent contour pouch.
  • Confitex’s built in three-layer technology is discretely integrated to prevent leaks and odours.

Please note Confitex underwear is not designed for heavy bladder leakage experienced immediately after prostate surgery or treatment that requires 'heavy' pads. However, as your bladder relearns control and leakage reduces, Confitex provides peace of mind for episodes of ongoing intermittent leakage.

Why choose Confitex?

How long does Confitex underwear last?

Confitex will last as long as your regular underwear. They can be washed over and over, and will not lose effectiveness over time.

Does the underwear lose its absorbency over time?

The absorbency of Confitex underwear does not decrease over time.

Does Confitex absorb/manage loose bowel leakages?

Confitex is designed for bladder leakage and we don’t recommend it for faecal matter.

Can I wear my disposable pad inside Confitex?

We recommend wearing Confitex on its own as it will function more effectively and fit better this way. It was not designed to be worn with another pad or diaper.

Do I still need to go to the bathroom?

Yes you do. Confitex is designed for uncontrolled bladder leakage, not a full bladder void. Confitex is not designed to remove the need for going to the bathroom

If my Confitex underwear feels damp should i be worried?

Directly following an episode, you are likely to feel some dampness but as the underwear wicks the moisture away from your skin and absorbs it this feeling of wetness will lessen and dissipate. The drying time will depend on the size of episode.

Can I sleep in my Confitex?

We don’t recommend sleeping while wearing Confitex as they are designed to be worn on an upright body.

How to choose your absorbency:

  • Light = 41.6ml*  or a splash (a cough, a sneeze) - Great for staying confident while on the go!
  • Moderate = 109.2ml* or a dribble (a stretch, a swing) - Keep active knowing you're protected. Ideal to support those unexpected moments.

*Based on how much the underwear is able to hold across an entire day.

With these briefs you are held into the position where the built-in pad absorbs the urine, you are able to drip freely without storing up stagnant urine. Now I feel absolutely confident to go anywhere and dress how I like without worries.
